Why This Story

I did not grow up in the church and it wasn’t until my late 20’s that my life changed forever when my walk with God began.

While I didn’t recognize God’s call on my life until that point in my life, I can look back and see that He was calling me from a very young age. So while most people would say my walk and story began at age 27, God began walking with me while I was a child.

It is now 30 + years later and that call of God on my life has taken me on many “adventures.” Most of those adventures were in directions I never would have expected, not always enjoyed nor would I want to repeat, but always with unexpected blessings, that I would not trade for anything.

I have been encouraged over the years to write of my journey. I love to share how God has worked and offer hope and give possibilities of what He can do.

So, this is not really my story, but God’s story and His work in my life. Listen carefully, not to my words but to God’s voice.

For there is no telling of what God can do – when God calls your name.
